My father the artist – 2

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:00 am

While in Buffalo I took a picture of my father in his studio. He’s working on a watercolor of a building called “RiverWalk” from a trip he and Ruth took to Virginia to visit Laurie, Ruth’s daughter.

ok computer programmer dad. that picture was saved at a jpeg lossy compression quality setting of 41! look at all those funky jpeg compression artifacts! just to entertain your aesthetically anal first born son, could you *please* try replacing the image with one saved from the original at at least 80 or 90? much love, justin

  3. Done, I’ve put a new image up saved at a setting of 90, but now the image is 4 times larger. I don’t really see much difference either for the size increase.
