Sorry for being away for a while. My sweetie pie is away in Maine with her mother and the house is very quiet, but I kind of like it that way for a little while. I don’t know if I’ll be posting very frequently. I’m busy at work and don’t seem to have much to say. Some people have more of a need to stand on their soapbox, but somehow that’s never been my thing.

My sweet wife and I spent the weekend away in Fredericksburg, TX. We shopped and relaxed. We stayed in a luxurious B&B with gourmet breakfasts. It was nice, but it’s also nice to be back home. We need a vacation from our vacation.

I’ve always been a light sleeper. Yet I don’t remember being bother by it until college. Now it seems that this is a genetic trait. So far my oldest and youngest have it too. I’m sorry for them, because I never thought they’d been saddled with it. Yet somehow over time I’ve just accepted it and moved on. They will have to do that too.
