In a few miles I filtered water from a picturesque windmill and ate my breakfast then. I seemed to hike even slower today. The trail reminded me of the PCT in that it was very well built and maintained. As I looked what was ahead I realized that I had a very big climb right at the end from about 6200 feet to 8000 feet in 4 miles.
